The Moon

I am here all day and night,

I watch over all of you
In the dark, and in the light

To some I am barely seen,
When the time of day is right
To some I am even ignored

Making the night bright
The night is my time to shine
My time to show my beauty,
and let the rest of the world admire me

Lighting up the sky I am known to many,

I am loved, and hated, even ignored

Many undervalue me

Rising and setting, I visit you every day

Never noticed unless I am in your way

Lighting your way...

Lighting your way, I keep you warm

Lighting up your world so you can carry on
